The Pre-Orders Exhibition was held at Bassetsbury Manor on 5th and 6th December 2003. Many local Councillors and members of public attended over the two days.

Residents and road users were invited to find out more about the Highways Agency’s proposals for improving the Handy Cross A404/M40 junction and speak to members of the project team.

The plans displayed at the exhibition include dedicated lanes for traffic travelling southbound from the M40 to the A404 and northbound from the A404 onto the M40, as well as additional lanes from the M40 sliproads entering the roundabout.

These draft plans will be developed into detailed plans (draft orders) for publication at the beginning of 2004, followed by a statutory consultation period.
