Integrated Transport Study - January 2001
	An integrated transport study of the Handy Cross Junction was undertaken by consultants PB Kennedy & Donkin to examine ways to reduce congestion at the roundabout and improve accessibility. The study identified a strategy that seeks to reduce congestion at the junction, which is consistent with the local transport policies. The Final Report, published in January 2001, presented the study objectives, the findings of the study undertaken by the consultants, the issues raised through the consultation process and further evaluation of the junction as a result of input from the consultation. The next stage will involve the detailed design of specific elements recommended in the Final Report.
